A Whirlwind Trip To Florida - Day 6

The days have went from Wednesday to Monday in a flash........it's already time to begin our journey back to Missouri, but I'm not going to leave Florida behind without visiting the ocean at least one time so Cocoa Beach here we come.

I have never seen an area with so many toll booths! I lost count after four or five. If you ever decide to visit this area and do a lot of driving I suggest bringing several rolls of quarters. About an hour or so and at least ten dollars in tolls down the road from Orlando we finally arrived at our destination.

Atlantic Ocean At Cocoa Beach

Above is a long exposure photo of the Atlantic Ocean horizon.

If I make it down here again I will get up early enough in the morning

to take a picture of the sunrise.

A View of Cocoa Beach

A picture of some of the dwellings along the beach to the north.

Seagull

Above is a seagull that I photographed as it flew by.

Cruise Ship On The Atlantic Ocean

This picture captured the image of a cruise ship as it was departing.

A broken seashell sits alone, undisturbed in the sand.

Although we didn't have a lot of time to spend on the beach and in the water, at least we can say we made it all the way to the Atlantic Ocean on our little vacation. After spending about an hour in the sand, we packed up and began the journey back to Missouri.

- Any day in the outdoors is a good day
