A Whirlwind Trip To Florida - Day 3
Friday May 12th 2017
After having gotten some much needed rest, I was finally able to enjoy a little more relaxed pace to our Florida vacation. Emilee's cheer team competed this morning, but were unable to make it into the final round. As they made their way off of the floor, my daughter was a bit disappointed by the outcome of her teams performance. She seemed to cheer up rather quickly when I told her "it's ok, now you have all weekend to play.... and you're at Disney World!" Once all of her team mates were done consoling each other we made our way back to the hotel where my daughters team photos would be taken. While waiting, my son decided to get in a little swimming at the pool.
The fireworks display today was going to be a completely new show so the timing was right for us to see last presentation of the old show and the very first of the new one. Of course this meant that more pictures were in order for tonight. Once Emilee was finishedup with her team pictures we were off to The Magic Kingdom.
We watched the new fireworks display and made our way back to the hotel where we could get some rest and prepare to finally begin visiting some of the parks. I'm beginning to think that if you want a relaxing vacation, Disney World isn't the place where that will happen.
