Fishing With Emilee

This afternoon my daughter and I went fishing at one of our favorite little crappie ponds. Emilee caught her first fish of the year today.
The Wind was blowing south - southwest at 10 - 15 miles per hour.
The water was dark and murky.
We were fishing on a pond about 4 acres in size.
The bait we chose for today was minnows.
We were fishing about 16 - 18 inches below the surface of the water.
Results:
Although the fish were biting slow we caught a few. My day included catching a crappie, a largemouth and a smallmouth bass. Emilee managed to catch one crappie. We managed to hook into one largemouth apiece that were able to escaped before being landed.
